This set of 103 cards includes Game and Background cards for use with any HDL game. Background cards enhance the character creation process by adding quirks to new characters. Game cards assist both players and Narrators throughout a game, providing bonuses, hindering enemies, and helping the characters grow. Blank versions of both Background and Game cards are included, so players and Narrators may create their own. To take advantage of all the HDL system has to offer, each gaming group needs a set of these cards.
