These sets were quite popular in 1960’s due to their sturdy design. They conform to the staunton proportions and have no sharp , protruding edges making them a pleasure to hold and play with. Durable in their construction, they are designed to withstand the rigours of practical play.

These chess pieces have been stained in a beautiful Walnut Stain for the dark side chess pieces. They would pair well with a Golden Rosewood / Walnut/ Rosewood chess board.
